The street’s a liar
I’m gonna lure you into the dark
My cold desire
To hear the boom, boom, boom of your heart
Frederic Chopin - Notturno In Do# Minore
Set the Fire to the Third Bar | Snow Patrol (f. Martha Wainwright)
And miles from where you are,
I lay down on the cold ground,
And I,
I pray that something picks me up and
Sets me down in your warms arms.
One of my favorite songs to that always helps get my muse back and photoshop.
I love this song and I the lyrics are actually substantive and make you think. IDK about you but I’m so used to listening to music and having be only about sex, love, heartbreak etc…but I never hear other types of music- like stuff that makes me think and ask “why?” As much as I love pop culture and shopping, I also like to feel free and one way I like to do that is by analyzing things once in a while instead of just “accepting” what’s given to me.
Sex, Sex, Sex, Sex, Sex, Sex, Sex, Sex
Yeah
Sex, Sex, Sex, Sex, Sex, Sex, Sex, Sex, Sex(La la la)
Nothing is provocative anymore
Even for kids
No room for imagining
Cause everyone’s seen everything
Question what the TV tells you
Question what the pop stars tell you
Question mum, question dad
Question good and question badSex, Sex, Sex, Sex, Sex, Sex, Sex, Sex
YeahSex, Sex, Sex, Sex, Sex, Sex, Sex, Sex, Sex
(La la la)
If women were religiously
Recognized sexually
We would’t have to feel the need to show our ass,
Is to feel free
Been there, done that
Robbed the tissues
Sold my soul
And yeah the truth hurts
Tired againActing naughty
